Default AOL Mail??

Please Login to Remove!

I've searched the forums perhaps not using the right phrase

People have hinted at it but not really said yae or nae on accessing your AOL mail on the BB Pearl? I'm thinking about getting one my but I'm a bit turned off as my farther has the Sprint Pocket PC and its a POS for trying to check any non-pop3 mail.

Is it eazy to read? And reply with?

Thanks in advance!

i check my aol mail all the time through my Pearl. I didnt set up any of my email accounts with Pearl. Not really what i got it for, but i check my aol mail everyday through the pearl's browser or opera mini. Just go to

http://pigeonmail.aol.com

that is the site for mobile aol mail, not sure if its secure on a desktop though

LOL. I went over to a friends house and he uses the actual AOL program on top of his Comcast. Said he knows how to disable all the bad features of it though I guess.

I'm having no difficulty accessing my AOL mail, though my screen name is the same with a xxxxxxxxxx@aim.com address...

i have a custom email address set thru AOL... i do recieve this on my blackberry. i did have to manually set it up tho.

after trying to let the BIS do it, you should have the option to set up every thing manually. once you get to that point, enter in the server box "imap.aol.com" and it worked for me.

i can not promise anything, cause i do not use an address with @aol.com. my Email is custom, but im pretty sure they are hosted on the same server.

if you need help with the process, PIN me and i will give you a step-by-step process.
