Default Handheld is Locked - can I remove options?

Please Login to Remove!

When my 7100 is locked is there a way of removing any of the options?
It currently shows

Unlock
Emergency Call
Cancel

My little boy has dialled the Police 4 times in the last week! I know I should keep it away from him but if I could remove it from the menu that would be a better option. Thanks!

If it is locked due to a policy set by your company there is no way you can get around it.

I guess you have to keep your BB away from your son.

Emergency Call is for emergencies, no way to disable it, even disable the phone piece through a policy allows you to make emergency calls.

rsun - I don't think that is the issue here. I believe that his company has set an IT Policy to lock the phone after a period of time...

NJB... I think it is the issue here... He says his kids dials the emergency number from the locked screen... But either way, I don't think that option can be removed...

It has nothing to do with company policy. He's talking about locking the keyboard and when you press the trackwheel when the keyboard is locked, you get the three options: Unlock, Emergency Call and Cancel.

Well, we really don't know whether it is a policy, or he set a timeout or what, no do we?

It's not a policy. When you unlock the keyboard by pressing the trackwheel, you get 3 options. That has nothing to do with a policy. That is built into the OS.

Exactly right. Nothing you can do about it.

Thats really not the issue here unless I read the thread wrong. The issue is his son plays with it and calls the police, has nothing to do with unlocking the phone.

Exactly right, nothing to do with policies, once you lock the Blackberry when you click the trackwheel to unlock it gives you three options. I would like to remove one or change the number it calls even.
