For some reason, I cannot configure my university email account to work with the BB 8300. Is this a known problem and is there a solution to it? Thank you.

Can you set it up to use a POP account with other computers such as a laptop? If you can set up a POP account, then it should be no problem.

Does your college use outlook? Like an outlook web login? Generally if you can set it up to download to your desktop, you can push it to your blackberry. How are you trying to set it up? Are you on BIS?

can always forward it to your blackberry email and change the "reply from" details

Go to your school's website and do a search for POP Access. That should help you out. If not, shoot an email to your IT department.

thats what i did, i search on my schools website for the pop settings, the same settings for outlook and i used those. worked perfectly. also set up a filter so only my professors emails would come through
