Here is a stupid Question:

If you buy a curve, found issues and exchange it with a new one after (say) 15 days in an AT&T store, do you have 15 days left for an exchage, or does it get extended so you have 30 more days again for an exchange, in case the new one fails too?

From what I have been told by several AT&T reps...you have 30-days from the day you purchased your initial device. And...some stores will not allow you to do more than one exchange...although I hear that some on this forum have done multiple exchanges in an attempt to find the "perfect" 8300.

I am very happy to say that I bought mine over the phone from AT&T Business Services...it is made in Mexico, and not Canada...and I can't even exchange it in a store if I wanted to. But even with all those strikes against it...it is perfect in construction (no creaks or looseness at all) and in performance.

I returned my Made in Mexico Blackberry today because it had the spongy feel on the right side underneath the volume buttons. They gave me a Made In Canada phone and this one feels solid.

Whoever started the thread that the Mexican version is better than the Canadian version is full of it.
