Hi:

I am running a sample app using JDE 4.0 and BB 7780 Simulator. The app consists of a background CLDC deamon that writes to a persistent store at regular intervals and a MIDlet that upon invocation will read the persistent store and print out the contents to the "System.out" console on the JDE.

The CLDC deamon works fine, but the simulator freezes after I fire the MIDlet once. The arrow keys don't seem to work and am neither able to invoke the MIDlet again nor any other app in the simulator. Never-the-less, even after the simulator "freezes", the CLDC deamon continues to work and keeps writing to the persistent store.

I am synchronizing the access to the persistent store between these two apps. Could this possibly be the reason for this problem?

If any of you have faced a similar problem, could you please tell me how you solved it?
