My question is can my phone be infected by a virus/spyware thru a text message? I received a text message from a source that I typically get messages from but this time the message read I opened the message since i thought it was from that particular friend. Nothing has happened to my phone but i was curious if anyone has had this experience. Also when on go to that website it looks like some online phone service.

I don't know of any virus which is attacking BBs or WM devices. There is a mobile spyware program out there but it has to be manually installed, doesn't automatically install itself as most similar programs and viruses. Only WM devices are vulnerable, right now any way.
