Default Sent Items Folder

Please Login to Remove!

Only items showing in the Sent Items Folder are items that were sent using the BB. It is not showing the items that were sent from the desktop. Is this normal or am I missing a setting?

Wouldn't that be checking off the folder in folder redirection settings? On the handheld, it is Message...Options...Email Settings...click thumbwheel and select Folder redirection.

PS: with BES 4 and OS 4 I really don't use the Desktop Manager.

This is the default.

If you don't want to see it this is the procedure we have to do.

What we found is that we have to do sometimes urn Wireless EMail Reconsiliation Off and On on the BlackBerry, then turn the folder off under Folder Redirection. Don't know what is it, but just turning it off directly without first turning Wireless Reconsile off and on didn't always take.

Sent Items isn't allowing me to select it under Foler Redirection. How do I get it to become "hot"?

When you say "This is the default", do you mean the inability to see sent items that were sent from the desktop is the default? I turned wireless email reconsiliation off and on on the BB, then went to folder redirection but the "sent" folder will not let me choose it.

When we first provision a user, by default the Sent folder is checked. We use Domino. Are you using exchange?

rsun, that is what I experience also. Sometimes it actually doesn't turn it off when the user doens't like it. Then I run an againt against their profile to chagne the flat not to sync the sent folder.
