Default Help me upgrade from my 7105T

Please Login to Remove!

My t-mobile contract is up in a month or so. I have good service and receive good customer care service. I can now upgrade my BB to a later model at a discount price. Here is where I need help.
The 8800 and the 83xx(should be out soon)seem to be my best candidates.
The GPS is important feature. HTML also. The camera less so.
My 7105T handles 85% (perhaps even higher!) of my true needs. Email, modem for my notebook, Opera browser.
Is the newer BB's worth the upgrade or is it wiser to keep the 7105T and keep my options open?

I've owned a 7100 model, the 8700 and now the 8800. I love the 8800 for these reasons over the 7100 model --8800 --full keypad, slim phone even with the full keypad, a lot faster load times then the 7100,media options, you can have an sd card with the 8800 for music/pictures/etc. The trackball with the 8800 is different...but I like it now better than the scroll wheel the older models have. In my opinion I would go with the 8800. I have had mine for a few months now and love it.

I've blogged on the 8800 at my site.

Be glad to answer any additional questions you may have.

Default cost vs value

The 8800 is over $150.00 more than the 8300. (my upgrade price with t-mobile) Is the older 8800 value worth $150.00 over the newer 8300?
If so, how so?

Hmm...kind of hard to say since I havent had an 8300. Though from talking with someone who has had both...they recommend the 8800. You do get a camera with the 8300, but I hear the full keypad is more like the older 8700 keypad. Personally if there is a $150 difference I would go with the 8300. I'm hoping to test an 8300 soon.

Default Thanks LovingMyBB

Yesterday night I downloaded and installed Opera beta. It's a great browser and just enough of an upgrade to hold onto my 7105T a little longer.
The way I see it is:
8800 great build
GPS
8300
Camera
full keypad
Both phones have incramental improvements
