This isn't a Blackberry discussion but I'm sure someone here can help me. AA.com sent me an sms the other day 2hrs prior to my flight telling me it has been delayed. How are they able to do it on a mass scale by only having the mobile numbers? Simplisticly they can send 200+ sms out but I highly doubt they're doing that. What are the mechanics involved in sending it through the internet? Is it a simple case of knowing server setups and domain names? Someone told me that each mobile number has an attached email address, but I tried and failed when I sent an email to my
(I'm with t-mobile and according to this guy, tmo.com is their domain name)
