I have a user that was on the BES server, then removed but an attempt to re-add the user results in the following error : Failed to add user surname, firstname to the Blackberry Server. Unable to open mailbox for user. The user's mailbox may have been deleted

This is only a problem adding this one user, I can add or remove other users ok.

Nothing has been changed with any permissions, mailboxes or the BES server.

Any suggestions to get this user back on the server ?

I have run dbclean.exe and mdbvu32.exe neither of which resolved the problem.

try moving or re-creating the mailbox
