I just called RIM for an issue and received a message that they will be 'performing disaster recovery failover testing' on Saturday, July 14th, between 2:00am and 6:00am Eastern time.

They said that service will be 'minimally impacted' if the requirements in this KB article are followed:

Didn't say what would happen if the BES doesn't have those requirements. Didn't state if this was for North America only, but since I believe that's the group I call into, that'd be my guess...but just a guess.

Would have been NICE TO GET AN EMAIL instead of finding out by calling them for another issue!!!

I would like to pass along a few *'s for that should...

I was doing an upgrade last October when they were doing some DR Testing that shouldn't have had any impact ... yeah, it did. Granted it only extended the upgrade by about 30 minutes ... but it had us all a bit freaked.
