Hi all,
Need a lil push in the right direction.
A user has a personal Blackberry and wants to access their own Exchange Mailbox with out the use of a BES.

POP3 is currently disabled on the exchange.
Whats required from me to enable this request?

I'm bumping this up, hoping one of the BES 'sperts see it. I'm not.

One easy (probably not the best) could be just to set a forwarding rule to his personal BB.

For sales reasons, the reply must comeback from the domain name the email was sent to.

The user can set the Reply From address to whatever he wants at his BIS site.

Understand u can add the From field but educating the user is always harder than doing things the correct way.

I'm a IBM Lotus Domain admin, but short of BES, the next best BlackBerry email experience on MS Exchange is OWA on Exchange Server 2003. Do you have OWA enabled? You can set BIS to retrieve OWA mail and also set the BIS -replyto address to be your corporate email.

another option is obtaining your free BESX cal (BES Express) though your user would need a BES data plan. BES is the best experience for Exchange/Outlook mail on the BB. So it should be considered.

Just found out about OWA access via lookin on Google.
OWA is up and running, What year did blackberrys start supporting OWA?

Only as im not sure how old the blackberry is until the user gets back to me.

I already have a BES server installed, but the Cals are max'd.
