This varies by state, although in a lot of states, only one party's consent is needed in order to record the call (which could be you). If that's the case in your state, it's legal. If both parties on a 2-party call must consent, then you probably don't want to do it.

I think it's pretty cool. You can listen to the caller leaving a message & pick up if you wish. If your worried about legalities on recording the conversation, as soon as you choose the option to record, it tells the other party that the call is being recorded & if they continue with the call, that is consent. If they don't wish to be recorded, they can hang up. Simple as that.

BTW... does anybody know what the rates are. I know they give us a $3 credit to begin with but how are calls calculated? I've read the T&C's but can't find any rate info. I also know it's beta & free so far but I would like to know for future reference.
