I am trying to load the BES manager on my PC so I don't have to remote control onto the server all the time. Problem is when I run the setup.exe the BES manager is not option.

I can load all the other options (Blackberry attachment service, MDS services, router etc. Not that I want to)

But no Blackbery Manager option?????

Its OK on my colleagues PC though - very strange?

I have attached a screen shot - I seem to be missing the Blackberry Manager but it shows on others PC's?

Just out of curiosity... are you trying to install the 4.1.4 service pack (which would require you to already have 4.1.x installed already?

You wouldn't be trying to install a Domino version of the BES manager on a PC without Notes installed by any chance, would you?

(a bit of a long shot, but I didn't spot a mention of a mail system)

Yes I am trying to install the BES Manager for a Domino BES. I have Notes installed as I am a Notes Admin.

I looked at the instructions but they don't seem relevent - I just can't work out why it works on other Notes admins PC but its not an option to load on mine. I am assuming its looking for something but not finding it on mine???

Looks like you're missing some key software requirements on the PC you're placing Manager on.

Hey kayema, search for your notes.ini and include its filepath in the system variables Path for your system properties on your PC. The installer will look for this file before it display the BlackBerry Manager option.
