Hi, I searched but couldn't find my answer. Hoping someone can help. I have an 8700c not on a BES.

I want to set a profile that will ring when e-mails are received from specific addresses only. Any idea how to do that?

At this point, you can do custom rings for phone. "BB alerts" is mentioned often on this site. This may or may not serve your purpose.

Actually you can and there's even a thread on it but I'm having trouble finding it.

It basically involves creating a profile for each contact (set the email alert there) and setting up exceptions in your active profile that specify using the unique profiles for each of your contacts.
