Kinda new to this whole thing. Cant figure out how to get video onto my pearl. I cant even put music onto it! Somebody help. I got the micro sd but im still stuck on stupid

have you enabled mass storage on your BB? what are you using to transfer the files?

Is it also possible to use a USB card reader with a SD 2GB and simply click and drag music/video from my pc/mac?

Would I still have to enable mass storage on my BB? what about formating?

thanks for the advice ill have to try again at home. But what about viewing online. For example youtube? Do i need a decoder or something.

I haven't tried this but I was told it this works!

Since I have a mac, I haven't synced my BB to my mac.
I'd like to put music on my BB.

Without synching, I could use a USB card reader with a micro SD plugged into my mac and then I could click and drag files onto the micro SD.
Then I could remove the micro SD and insert into my BB and this would allow me to play my music.

So, if this is the case do I need to format the micro SD first? And do I still have to allow for mass storage onto BB before I insert the micro SD?
