I am in India and I have a Unlocked Blackberry pearl,if i update the OS,is it going to be locked and do i have to get it unlocked again?

Please let me know i am ready to the upgrade but want to check before i do that.

no matter how many times you update anything on the BB, from OS to apps. the device will never ever be locked once unlocked
