Just got my GPSlim 240 and so far so good with my Curve. I've been trying to get lost so that I have a reason to use it.

Although very minor, I did not get the little keyring that I see in your picture with my GPSlim 240. Because it's so small, it would make it convenient to connect to my set of keys.

Just ordered mine. It'll be my first BT GPS receiver. I am loving the size, I've never seen a BT GPS receiver as small as this!

I'm thinking about just keeping it on my key chain - will it scratch it up? Should I just keep it in my glove box when not in use? (I'd like to be able to eBay it if I ever get a BB with a GPS built in!)

Also... and I did some searching and didn't find the answer.... can I have a BT GPS active and my BT headset at the same time?

I have my GPSlim 240 and Plantronics Voyager 510 paired and usable at the same time.

My impression is that anything that is connected to a set of keys will get scratched and damage over time. You can't beat the convenience though of always having your keys, GPSlim240 and Blackberry on you at the same time.

It appears to be as durable as a USB thumb drive. The silver bottom of the casing appears to be made of aluminum and the top is a black hardened plastic.

Got mine today... tried it out with TeleNav. It works very well. I lost GPS one time, and I just powered the Holux off, power cycled the bluetooth, powered it back on. Worked great since then.

I used google maps in satellite mode while I was sitting in my bedroom. Not only did it approximate my location correctly, but it looked almost like the blue dot was on top of the roof in exactly the location I was.... kind of spooky, but good stuff.
