Very nice! This will be great when I'm on the road and get hungry for something other than fast food!!

I'm on a Sprint 8830 and loaded 8800 version per posts above, and it seems to work great so far.

We do have an 8830 build with GPS that is currently in QA, and planned to be pushed out soon. You will see it in a couple weeks on the InfoSpace Find It! for Blackberry site.

So, quick update. We have been working with RIM on their APIs and the way you author a program to connect to the internet with BIS/BES/TCP. We believe we have a fix that will correct any network connectivity issues people are seeing. Malik has been recruiting a few people to test this when it is ready. (over the next couple weeks). We want to make sure this change is solid before releasing it.. so thanks for your patience.. but something is on the way that should take care of things for you.

As far as GPS puck support, give us a little more time there. Rest assured, I personally own an 8100 and a puck, you can take a guess as to how bad I want this as well. Things are moving forward. Lots more to come on this app for all. (and thanks for the words of encouragement from the ones who are using it, it is great to hear. )
Hi! Do you know if there are any updates to InfoSpace for 8800? I continue to have problems loading the applications [on the AT&T network] using my BB. I use InfoSpace 1.4.0. Thanks in advance for your help.

I just DL and installed it on my 8800 and so far locating my current location, searching nearby business and Text-To-Speech (TTS) for directions work fine. No errors.
I am using ATT, Enterprise BB.

BTW, I agree with folks that it is pretty useful overall. I would love for the live map, reroute using GPS to work. That would make this one of the best apps around.

Still no GPS puck support... I use a 8300 and would love to be able to use a GPS puck with this program. Until then I am stuck with the unreliable Beyond411 :(

Unreliable Beyond411?

It is a free application which the author has kept updated. I find it unbelievably useful and accurate.

We have many phones internally that are ATT 8800, and many, many, many 8800 users So, just wanted to make sure i understand if there are still issues, what they are. You can always PM me to get my attention directly.

Default cannot connect

Using an 8830. I am receiving an error when i try to access Infospace Find It!

Unable to start Infospace Find It! Possible network problems, try again.

I have tried multiple times, and reinstalled app multiple times.

Any ideas?

Installed 1.40 for Verizon Pearl on my VZW Pearl and it launched OK, but locked up hard (had to pull battery) when it tried to verify my address when I entered it.

After reboot it appeared to run fine.

Aside from voice directions, didn't see much that isn't already done as well or better by Windows Live Search on the BB.

But voice turn-by-turn is a high trump.

Gotta have BT puck support! The voice directions are quite nice...full street and freeway names, good pronunciation. If they work seamlessly w/my BT puck (Freedom keychain 2000) and if the directions update smoothly when you miss a turn/go off course, this will be a keeper.

Running into the same issue with my Sprint 8830. Have checked to make sure permissions are all set to Allow, etc. Anyone get this working on an 8830?

Thanks!
