Default As we prepare for 8320 TMO launch....

Please Login to Remove!

We are two weeks away from the TMO 8320 launch. How exciting! I was thinking of ordering the Shieldzone (invisibleshild) screen protector. I love this on my Pearl. Does anyone have any experience using this for the Curve?

Also, is it still accurate to assume TMO will be releasing this device on Sept. 24th?

I'm using best skin ever for my curve.. it's cheaper than shieldzone and i'm lovin it.

I believe the 8320 sept 24th release have already been confirmed.

im just putting this thing in a case of any sort, i used a rubber skin with my pearl and the damn thing was so hard to get outta my pocket, esp when i wore jeans, so i will just keep it how it is, and when it gets all scratched up, i will find a way to get a new one

Yes, I have one on my Curve. Instead of covering the whole BB, I just ordered the screen sized shield. The remainder of the Curve is in a thin Seidio case with matching holster. Love it.

I'm ready for my T-Mobile Curve. I have already ordered three different cases (work case, weekend case and just in case).

I'm prepared to clean off any dust that may appear under the screen LOL On a serious note I'll probably just get the OEM pouch for it.

It may sound funny but... When I go jogging or doing something outside I have my Pearl (soon Curve)... If is going to rain or a lot of perspiration the only thing waterproof-light is a 3/4 zip-lock baggie other than the skin... have one handy in case of heavy -rain ,scratches inside the suitcase(backpack etc...) They are handy not only for TSA.

I am also anxiously awaiting 9/24. (I actually received an email from T-Mobile confirming the drop date) I have used the GizmoSkin case and it has been superb. I will be ordering one for my new Curve. ::.. GIZMO SKIN - CASES. POUCHES. HOLSTERS Fortunately I haven't had too much of an issue with scratches on the screen, I won't be getting the screen shield.

Just a quick question......I am using a un-locked AT&T Curve on T-Mobile's network. Is the T-Mobile 8320 any different then the 8300 other then wifi added to it?

I'm just thinking of a new reason I can upgrade and be able to justify it to myself.

It may or may not launch with OS 4.3. that and wifi may be the only differences

Default Is Curve worth the Wait and Possible Premium Price?

Hello Everyone. This is my first posting, so be gentle.

I dont even own a BB, but after extensive research, I have concluded that I will be going with a Curve. I have been follwing for quite some time since there was rumors of the new Curve coming to T-Mobile.

My questions are..for those who are nice enough to respond..

1. Other than Wifi and UMA, there really isnt much difference between this and the previous Curve correct? Has the 3.2 with zoom lens been verififed?

2. Even though it comes in Wifi, it doesent necessarily mean that you can use Wifi access points wherever you are, unless you are a subscriber or pay for that particular WAP. We all know Wifi is great, but Wifi could be worse than the actually standard wireless capabilities of the BB network/data plan depending on signal strength.

3. Will the new Curve be complaint to the soon to arrive 802.11n standard? I know that I have already seen equipment makers produce compatible products based on the arriving 802.11n standard already.

4. Anybody know what the initial price offering will be with a new T-Mobile contract? Verizon was selling their new World Edition phone for 199.00 with a two year contract when it first came out...

5. Finally, if I get the BIS data package, can I access corporate email using just the BB Enterprise server in my organizations Data Center? I know that I can use the bb email and have corporate emails forwarded there, but as a first time BB user, I dont see why when getting a standard Data Package, that Corporate emails will not get pushed. Oh yea, with BIS data package, waht 10 email address options do I have (yahoo, gmail, my own company?).

Sorry for these long inquiries, but any assitance would be appreciated.

Tony

Default 8320 curve with WIFI

For me the WIFI is the biggest plus. WIth t-mobile's promotional $10 a month for unlimited WIFI and unlimited calling over WIFI.
I have a wireless router at home and at the office, add the hotspots and that means most of my calls will be over wifi. I can drop my minute package and hopefully do some free international VOIP calling. Its about time a North American carrier has offered wifi technology as a service. I just switched from AT&T (been with them for 9 years) to T-Mobile just cause of the WIFI. Cant wait for the curve.

I would not be surprised if it launches at $349.99 after MIR. I won one in a blackberry contest...I bet I don't see it until December

I have to say I am very anxiously awaiting the TMO release of the Curve. I can't wait to drop Verizon and get rid of the Moto E815.
