Post Create daily reminder for recurring task?

Please Login to Remove!

I need to program my 8703 to remind me each day to take my medications. I also need to take these meds 4 times each day. How can I create a recurring task for each time of day that will alert me every day at that time? I link with MS Outlook. Thanks!

Default Recurring Task?

I just took a look at my MSOutlook 2007. In that version of the software, it's possible to create recurring daily tasks with alarms. You may not have the same version of the Outlook, but I'd bet that earlier versions had similar features. I haven't tried this, so it's a suggestion at this point, which might work for you.

Default Was hoping not to have to link to MS Outlook...

Thanks ExGMan!

I was hoping not to have to link to MS Outlook every day to accomplish this. I think I ahve found a way to create a task In Outlook that will generate a new task once it is completed.

Be well!

Default

You can set up a recurring event in your calendar with a notifier. Would that not work?

Default Trying to create as task instead of appt. for clutter

ManiacDan,

Thanks for your response. It will work as you suggested. My goal was to create it as a task instead of an event/appt. to reduce "clutter" on my BB calendar and MS Outlook. I'm experimenting with creating a task in MS Outlook that creates a duplicate task for the following day once the first is completed. We'll see...

Be well!

Thumbs up AmericanGreetings.com

I got tired of messing with the BB and found AmericanGreetings.com. I created a free account, created recurring daily tasks, and just received my first email reminder for a task.
