Default Bluetooth Synch w/ Desktop Manager-Outlook >>Help PLEASE<<

Please Login to Remove!

trying to synch pearl 8100 with Desktop Manager
via
toshiba laptop qosmio, with latest bluetooth stack, using built in BT adapter

i already use phone as modem via bluetooth , no prob,
so toshiba sees phone, phone sees toshiba,
i get online via Pearl wirelessly, works great

i cant get desktop manager to activate bluetooth
i have searched the crap out of this forum and nothing

it seems laptop installed pearl on COM 40
desktop manager only sees up to COM 19, or COM22

i read somewhere that you can'y use 3rd party (toshiba bluetooth stack)
t-mob says you cant sync via bluetooth , period, but he prob was clueless

i think i have to use Win XP Blutooth stack?
Is this the case?

if so, how do i install it? where do i get it ?
i heard also you had to re-edit this bth.inf file to make it work

all i know is that this is SO WAY COMPLICATED,

how can something as simple as synching wirelessly be such a mystery, such a hassle... am i missing something really simple?

i do not want to use a USB Bluetooth adapter, as i have one built in already

can someone PLEASE, PLEASE help...

I use BT to synch my 7130e to Outlook. It works very well once you get rid of the Toshiba stack. I am only somewhat computer literate and was able to follow the directions and get the MS BT to work no problem 1st time. I have tried searching for the thread here but don't have the time to search at the moment any more. I would look in the BT section here. Its there and the directions are great. Good luck!
