forum. I spoke to a rep at a retail shop and he told me that sending pictures is part of your SMS monthly allowance. Is this true? I want a plan that allows picture sending...These At&t reps need to brush up! give me the At&t plans 101. thanks.
I was told the same thing by reps at AT&T. In the old days MMS msgs were billed separtely at a much higher rate than text msgs; maybe .$25/msg. At least now MMS I believe is "unlimited" but still counts as an SMS.
Messaging Unlimited
You have the freedom to message any way to any one - text, picture, video and IM - without worrying what each message costs. That means every message counts the same. You can send and receive ANY combination of messages. Want to send all picture messages? No problem. All IMs? Go ahead and chat away - send and receive messages for less than pennies per day!

gadget! this means you have to add this to one of their other data plans? I went back to their site and if I get what your saying the "Personal Max 1500" allows for 1500 messages of any type- SMS or pictures. Also, is there a "workaround"? If I send a pic as an email attachment I technically using data...
I think the email is data, only sms and mms count as a message used. I have the 1500 plan and was told that if i wanted i could send 1500 pics and it would be the same as sending just text.
