Please use this link:

Find most everything I need.

If you don't use a screen protector, use a holster, sleeve, or skin.

im sorry to say this, but just because you guys post a lot, and are mods... you shouldnt be so rude.

in fact, i am a member of many forums around this whole "internet" thing.

but the last time i checked, you dont have to always use the search button.

you two shouldnt feel mandated to reply to every thread, just because you are mods.

noone on pinstack is really rude or anything, but bestskins, shieldzone and so forth seem like protectors to me...

if you read my post, you would notice i asked for people who DON'T use them.

sorry if i sound rude, but it just turns me off to post here, when everytime i post, because that is what the forum is for, i get people telling me to wiki it or search for it...

when i could use the forum for it's real use, a discussion, instead of referring to some wiki/database.

but thanks for your replies nonetheless...

sorry to sound rude...

it was sarcasm

but i do have a suggestion for this forum,

can we just have a big welcome screen with john clark's signature...

that way, noone will ever ask questions...

that would make things easier for you guys right?

Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words. When a question has been asked 500 times we write a faq since we figure that if 500 people had the question, 500 more might have it as well. So, sorry if our pointing you to the faq's is such an inconvenience for you.

As for searching, it's standard forum etiquette (which you'd know if you were an active member of all those forums "around this internet thing.") The search bar isn't put there just for moderators to use to search and then post links for everyone. It's there for everyone to use.

All your questions (in your other threads as well) could have been answered by simple searches of the forums and the faq's as they have been asked many times before. I don't frequent pinstack, but I'm pretty sure they prefer you to search there too before posting. JSanders and I both nicely answered your questions (with links) and then asked you to search the forum and search the faq's for more info. Many hours have been put into the faq so that answers to questions can be obtained quickly and easily by forum members.

Hope that clears things up. Thanks for calling me out.

JC

noone called you out

im just saying, i understand there is a faq and a search button...

i understand this completely...

but i posted the thread for simply some discussion, current discussion in fact...

like i said, i dont mean to be rude, i just thought that maybe other people than you guys could post here too, instead of you guys ALWAYS pointing me to a faq or search button, cause i know what they are for...

i apologize for not ALWAYS using the search and faq, but i wish you guys wouldnt push it on me everytime...

in fact, on this one page i see the search button about 4 times and the faq button like 3 times...

but whatever, thanks for the discussion, i have learned a lot

After getting beaten by Georgia last night, his grouchiness is understandable.

You see if four times but won't use it...

Oh well.

Bama, my answer to your FIRST question of what to use if you don't have a screen protector was to get one. You either do or you don't, there is no maybe. Sorta like being preggers, you either are or not, there is no in between. I wish you had understood that was MY opinion.

No one has pushed searching on you everytime. Don't exagerrate, its silly. I think twice in the past three days John and I suggested you search. I have personally emailed you with help, answered your questions and been polite.

Apparently you want otherwise.

ok discussion:

Get a screen protector. Your screen will get scratches without one. And you don't want to try to get rid of scratches. I've tried, its no fun.

To clean the screen? You don't with a screen protector, because it is covered with a protector. Life is so good. I just wipe the BB screen across my shirt tail or hankerchief to clear the finger prints on the screen protector.

What to do if my screen gets a scratch or scrape in it? Mine doesn't!

What to do if my screen protector gets a scratch? I replace it in 30 seconds.

Maybe if only those who don't use a screen protector would post in this thread, it would be helpful. But I think they all are too busy trying to figure how to use their new 8830 this weekend.

So, you've had a screen protector before but you are asking how to protect the screen without a screen protector?

Without a screen protector you will get scratches on your screen, plain and simple. Just rubbing the screen will put small minor scratches in it. If you don't mind that then don't use a screen protector.

But the only way to prevent that is a screen protector.

Am I missing something here?
