Do you have mass storage enabled?
Options > Advanced > Media card.

I am not sure where in Desktop Manager you are looking, but also upgrading to the latest version of DM, with the Roxio Media software would be wise.

My card doesn't show up in Media Manager or MY computer as a USB drive. It did two days ago and now it doesn't. I have all settings correct and have data on the card right now that I can access from the BB.

Anyone know why that would have changed?

Thanks

I think i know what is wrong.
If you want it to show as Mass- storage right click the button next to the track ball once you plugged it in as USB mode. click yes. Go to properties. Make sure your File system is set as FAT. Last time my memory card did not show was because it was set as FAT32. nonetheless re-format and make sure its FAT take a picture on phone if memory card is working you should get a option to save it to your memory card.

If thats not it got on phone
options
advanced options
media card
and make sure its on

I have the same problem. It will allow me to do mass storage but I can't find the media card folder on my Blackberry itself.

IN Mass Storage Mode, while plugged into your USB, you will not see the Media Card folder FROM the BlackBerry itself. While plugged into the USB, the Media card is only visible from the PC, since it is acting as an additional drive at that point.

This is explained in the FAQs, which everyone should check out.

Bottle... welcome to the BBForums.

Oh, sorry. Before I posted on the thread the only post that was shown on the page was the original post. I didn't have a chance to read anything before mine.

I just put a 1GB card in my 8100... in order for me to access the mp3's I loaded on it, I had to power down and back up. Then it recognized the folder I created and I'm listening to some AC/DC right now!

Welcome to the Forums, nationwide.

Rebooting the BB after loading media is common, as it often won't appear as being there otherwise.
