I haven't seen that many problems with WiFi, more bad setups and lack of user knowledge mostly, and some TMo updates needed.
Between the two, I would go for the third, 8310 with GPS, when it comes out. I don't need WiFi, but I love GPS.

Why would you get the 8300 when you can get the same exact thing with wifi, even if you couldn't get it to work right away?

Choose the best carrier for you, then choose the device.

Definitely the 8320 for me since that's the only native Curve on T-Mobile. Wifi's been OK for me, overall.

Wifi is spotty at best, shows it connected to my AP and yet still makes calls over wireless. With wireless disabled it goes to UMA on and off even if my router is close, most of the time I get a called failed cause it never goes to UMA. When I use Blackberry messenger, it just sits there until it decides to connect to the internet and send it seems like I have to initiate on the phone first and then it shows UMA. Most of the time it never stays on UMA.

If this wasn't a company paid phone I'd be pissed paying $10/month for the service...I activated this phone like a new user, I didn't back up my old phone since I have nothing in there that's important. I haven't done a reload yet but pretty crappy for having a brand new phone not work right. I already did a wipe which should of corrected it but seems like I have no choice.

I can careless about camera and would prefer GPS over wifi. But rather have GPS over Wifi any day and the battery life on my curve isn't the greatest.

I also have had both. In fact, I have had two 8300 and had problems with both of them and just love the 8320! It is a newer, better phone with better voice quality in my opinion and just the better phone. Plus I prefer T-Mobile for the better coverage in the areas that matter to me and much lower rates!

I prefer the 8320, I had the 8800 with gps for $10 bucks a month and didnt use that. $10 to get free mins @ home and at wifi connections is cool, besides the wifi fix is suppose to be here on the 6th so its cool. I have used most BlackBerrys and they all have their own lil character flaws. all of them.To me the 8320 is almost perfect

i think u have psychologically been brainwashed by the newer curve.

i have the 8310 and its no different from the 8300. i cant see the 8320 being any different besides having wifi.

at the end of the day.. it comes down to what you need your phone to have be it wifi gps or plain jane
