Thumbs down What Do I do?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Nextel 7100i. I'm going to dump it cause the service is crap at my house.

I want either a BlackBerry Curve 8320 on t-mobile or BlackBerry 8830 on Sprint.

Can I get any recommendations on what phone?

Also I know T-mobile offers 1000 minutes with unlimited email and web for about 60 bucks, thats a lot cheaper then sprint.

I also hear the Curve is the best phone, but before I make the wrong move, I was hoping to get some input.

If signal strength is an issue with Nextel, then probably your first challenge is to make sure you know which carriers solve that problem for you. It may make your choice easier than you think.

I agree with the post above! Check and see which service will provide the coverage where you need! The best device is worthless if it doesn't work! Most carriers have a trila period and many have a 3 day period that if phone and service are returned during that 3 days there are no charges to you.

See if any of your friends use TMO or Sprint and test that way as well! Before jumping

Service is fine with both, its more of a phone issue. Unless someone has info between the two carriers

Given that service is well with both then it now becomes an issue of which phone will meet your needs! Cost wise Tmo's service is absolutely less expensive. As most BB's do the same primary function well (email) do you want a camera? Bigger or smaller form factor! I would go into each respective carriers corporate store and play with each model for 10-20 minutes and get a feel for with seems to feel best to you

BB 8830 from sprint. I'll try it out, and if the service blows, I'll be t-mobile bound. I'll have the phone today. 199.99 stright, wth no rebate forms to fill out.

Do a personal coverage check. While I think both of their coverages are about equal, no phone regardless of coverage elsewhere is gonna be worth anything if you dont get home and work coverage.

put in both your work and home addy
