Default New feature: Sprint Pick 3?

Please Login to Remove!

I've seen on a couple of other forums/boards about a new, unadvertised, feature/plan available from Sprint -it's called Sprint Pick 3. Here are some of the links I've found:

News - Phone News: Sprint Rolling Out Pick 3 Service to Answer T-Mobile myFaves

Phone News - Sprint Rolling Out Pick 3 Service to Answer T-Mobile myFaves

Anyone else heard about this, or using it?

EDIT: Found a link on a Sprint Forum: baw - Re: Sprint Pick 3 who wants it - Plans - Buzz About Wireless

Wonder why they went with only 3. Is there a patent on 5 or did they think they would go broke?

Maybe that's how high their CSR's can count?

OUCH. Sorry, but it's funny.

I actually use corporate CSR's and they can count to 20.

Wow! That is interesting first I have heard about it. Definitely good to know! Gotta call my friend who works at Sprint to get the full scoop.

Good question JC. Perhaps same reason TMO went with 5 instead of 10 to match Alltels Mycircle with 10 names!

Sprint going broke if the don't do something they may. Certainly they are not in the best financial situation 43% of my new activations at ATT are ports from Sprint

How do you know what their financial situation is? Our Corporate Sprint account has mushroomed from 10 lines in Feb to 150 lines in September.

I have deployed almost 100 8830's since they came out on July 1st!!

Seven is the perfect number. AT&T will probably do the Magificent Seven, or has that been taken yet?

Verizon Purfect 4
ATT magnificent 7

I like those very funny

Only way either of those two carriers will do something like that is if one or the other does it! Those two carriers view each other as the only competitors, notice how each carriers plan and feature pricing is almost exactly the same!

As far as Sprint, they have been in financial flux for many years! Are they gonna go bankrupt not likeley but of all the carriers they are financially in the most unstable shape.

Well its no wonder they are not advertising it! No company likes to lose money. But damn they suck, I hated them when I had them. It explains alot when you talk about them not being able to count, becuase they sure wont or cant explain billing.
