Default just bought a used pearl.. whats wrong with it?

bought it off a friend's, friend. I put my sim in it and it turns on but-

doesn't load up my saved #'s on my sim? and still has all of his #'s and text messages

also what do I need to delete off it besides his pictures/numbers?

You need to do a security wipe on the device.

As for the SIM contacts, I'm not sure because I don't store contacts on my SIM card. Sorry.

go to options>security>general settings>press berry button and select wipe handheld will remove all of his info

you need to go into address book> berry button and select SIM Phonebook then you will have to add them one by one to the addressbook

You can go into the SIM phone book as Ez described and you can move all your sim numbers to the phone at once. Just use "Copy all to address book."

AHA it is indeed there.

can you copy all from phonebook to sim? (givent the limitations of the sim of course)

Yup. You can copy all from sim to address book but you can't copy all from address book to sim.

It's because your address book contains much more than the sim can hold and it doesn't know which (one) number you'd like to transfer over. When copying sim contacts it simply moves the one name and number for each contact into the address book.
