I just switched over to AT&T today from T-Mobile. I had the Blackberry Pearl 8300 with T-Mobile, so I am a little familiar with the Pearl.

However, when getting the 8100 today, things are a little different. I use to be able to change the order of which icons appear on my screen. Now with the 8100 it displays in this order:

1. Setup Wizard
2. Messages
3. Push to Talk
4. Call Log
5. Calandar
6. Applications

I would like to change it and take some of these icons off and put other ones on. Is there anyway to do this on the 8100 versioin? Also, they go down the left side of the screen. Is there anyway to get them to go accross the bottom of the screen like I could on the 8300?

You can move them in the same way on the Pearl! Highlight the icon press berry button and select move icon. You can also hide th icons! As far as icons along the bottom that will be theme dependent I believe.

mman, the way your icons are displayed across the screen (left, right, bottom or filling the screen) is theme dependent (options > themes). Look at the ones on your BB, as well as some in the Media Section here to find a theme you like.
