Talked to an AT&T rep today.... looks like it wont be out till 24th...

That gives me time to talk to the wifey about switching carriers and phones....

I plan to go with:

8310
1350 minutes (phone plan)
Blackberry unlimited with internet access for laptop

Do those usb devices work will with the onair speeds or should I get an air card (all those sucked believe it or not)...

I don't understand all the delays. The 8310 has already been launched in the rest of the world, so what's the hold up? I'm waiting on this phone to switch to AT&T and buy my first blackberry, so the delay is killing me.

Delay to the 16th has been repeated by several people in several forums.

Im not sure what this part of the statement means though

"Supply Chain had already set the 8310 Titanium to populate orders for stores when their 8300 stock is w/in replenishment need. The Red 8310's will be proactively shipped upon launch."

It sounds sorta to me like they have titanium ready to ship....but that's just my speculation.

and I actually want the titanium one because I can already tell so many people will have the red one.

the stores in my area (mechanicsburg, pa and camp hill, pa) .. they have no idea when it was coming out and the one employee from the camp hill store said that their manager is pretty good with release dates and he had no idea. =(
