Default Help BES/BIS crossed up

Please Login to Remove!

I found one thread from 2006 on this but no solution.

I have one BES account and two BIS (OWA and POP3).

I have a different background on the enterprise Email.

This week, when I receive BES Email it comes in as "Received Using:" "Unknown" (Secure).
The background is not BES
And worst of all, when I reply it is from the BIS POP3 Email account.

Oh, and the enterprise calendars stopped syncing wirelessly.

I also generated a new encryption key because when I connected to the desktop it said the current one had expired.

One thing I did notice is that even though I don't use desktop redirect, when I connect to desktop I get a service book for Desktop[pop3 account].

I don't have a service book for enterprise account that I can see.

I'm on the road and dangling here, my BB Admin (in India) can't help and suggested ATT, ATT said call my BB admin - is there any more insight into this problem? Any suggestions how to get my BES back?
I'm feeling somewhat suboptimal -

Okay, according to RIM and ATT, I have desktop redirector service books that have replaced (?) my BES service books. I can either reactivate or have BES Admin (sorry, Poland not India) resend service books. Fine.

Question:I've tested this and every time I connect to Desktop manager it reinstalls a desktop[cmime] and desktop[ccal] service book, even if desktop redirect is not selected. Anybody know how to shut this off?

The only reason I connect to desktop manager is to backup and to install apps, I don't sync to any desktop apps, but I guess still need this.

Thanks

You need to completely uninstall Desktop Manager, and then reinstall it using the BlackBerry Internet Service option.
Do NOT select Desktop Redirector or Enterprise Server option.
