Any more luck with the tasks functionality? We have 25 users that could use it

they have been promising updates for this app for months - its nice but would be great if it added more options under the settings/creation screen like add category, more date options, etc

Hi Fred,
we have just released an update - Follow-Up 4.0.
It is now possible to:
- set the default reminder (1 min, 15 min, etc..)
- set the default privacy settings - this way, you can make sure your follow ups are always private (or public)
Please let us know
Thank you
The Link2 Team
P.S. The update should appear on handango within 24 hours

thanks for the update - is there a way for you to add option under follow up to Add to Calender WITHOUT changing settings first>? In other words add ability to inject item via calender on the fly?
Right now we have to manually go into settings and change from task to calender each time :(

Hi there,
we've done an extensive research and couldn't find a way to implement the reminders for tasks easily and in a consistent manner - basically there's just a hole in the RIM API.

I reset my device. Same issue. I just now completely wiped my BlackBerry Curve using the JL_Cmdr and reloaded the firmware and still receive the java error:
Exact Error: Uncaught exception: java.lang.Error
Are there any other Curve users who have this app working on their device?

Hi there,
we are sorry about the issues - we have many Curve users who haven't had any issues Since you tried wiping your BB, we are clueless as to what the problem could be

Hello. I was able to download and install version 4.0. Quick question:
I am on a BES server. Anyway to make the appointments that serve as reminders to synchronize back to my exchange server as well? This tool would be great if it could do it since I would generally set a reminder when I am on the road but would love if the reminder poped up on my outlook when I am in the office.

Hello Jim,
when you create the reminder and it's added to your calendar - it doesn't sync with your outlook - it should, right, since you have a BES server?
Please let us know
Thank you so much

Seems like our mail server was acting up,

Hi,
when you create a calendar event separately (not using Follow-Up), does it actually sync with your outlook?
Thank you for letting us know

Yes. That is the point of a BES server. Assuming that Wireless synchronization is on, the calendar entries get synchronized to the server. Effectively, nothing lives on the blackberry. Rather, it lives in your exchange server and gets syncrhonized back to the blackberry and vice versa.
