Default suggestion

I would buy one as well. One suggestion to add would be to have some type of screen to not leave the speaker completely exposed but still allow sound to come through.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

As long as the rubber texture matches the sides, I'd buy it.

hey guys I was thinking......maybe the reason why RIM didnt make a whole for the speaker is to protect the unit from DUST getting in?? what are your thoughts??...

^ That's what I was thinking. Yesterday I took off my battery door and there was some dust behind it from the two speaker openings that are already there, maybe the speaker opening is not such a good idea. I would still like to know if there is anymore info on a release date. I was thinking of getting it and gluing a piece of screen on or something.

^^^ Looks to me like it won't be an issue. The rubber around the camera and the speaker seems to be to give a snug fit and prevent camera and speaker dust from reaching the rest of the phone.

Sign me up for one that doesn't cover up the camera. All black. No self-portrait mirror, no Blackberry (or seidio) logos visible.

All black with no special openings and a higher quality mirror (one that doesnt scratch off like the BB one), and I'd buy in a heartbeat.
