I believe WorldMate Live is using the wrong GMT time settings, and we cannot affect a change. As a result, at about 5PM PST in San Francisco, a weather check shows me that the last update I did is tomorrow, and not 5PM today. Likewise, flight status updates are showing me that updates were last shown 7 hours ahead of my actual time.
This is a problem because once it assumes it is tomorrow, data for today is no longer shown.
Since so many in this thread have tested the application, would any of you be willing to test this problem and report it back to worldmate so they will pay attention and finally fix it. It's been here since worldmate 2006.
If you live in the west coast of the United States, check your weather after 5:00PM, and see if it states that the last time you updated is tomorrow, not the day you actually checked. You will also notice that it will make claims like, your flight leaves in 2 hours, instead of 9 hours because the GMT is way off for us in the PST area.
If you are in the east coast, then it will be off by 5 to 6 hours.
WorldMate doesn't appear to work off our clocks at all. No matter what time zone you set, it's not going to change the results of the weather or the flight status. It's as if the GMT is hard coded, rather than a variable based on the user's actual time.
Here is my thread, would appreciate a little support on the issue.
