Works great on the web. Manually tested it and entered my flight info and syncs to my BB.

However, having problem with this. Added the "add-on" to Outlook, added my wmlive address, received an email from the supported airlines, click on Export, it goes out....but never synchs to the website or the BB? Emailed support and still no response yet on what the issue is? Besides something on their system, does anyone have any clues on what may be wrong on mine?

Have anyone tried to add an overnight flight? or return flight from Asia across different timezone?

During the beta version, I reported the bugs to WM and they told me they were working on it. I tried in the new version and bugs still exist.

1) created a trip starting 10/20/2007 with an international flight flying on 10/20/2007 at 1am. After I saved it, it shows up the trip starts on 10/19/2007/

2) added a round trip flights from LAX to Asia. in the return leg, it won't allow me to save it because my start time is before the end time. However, it is what they provide me for that specific flight number.

It is out of beta and you do not need to invite for using the "free limited version".

Guys,

When I became a Gold Member, they gave me a promotion code for a 20% discount. I actually think it's still open so if any of you want to subscribe as well here is the code: 971922

Let me know if it works out. http://www.wmlive.com

I have been using this application for the last few weeks and they really did a good job on it.

Thumbs down

I believe WorldMate Live is using the wrong GMT time settings, and we cannot affect a change. As a result, at about 5PM PST in San Francisco, a weather check shows me that the last update I did is tomorrow, and not 5PM today. Likewise, flight status updates are showing me that updates were last shown 7 hours ahead of my actual time.

This is a problem because once it assumes it is tomorrow, data for today is no longer shown.

Since so many in this thread have tested the application, would any of you be willing to test this problem and report it back to worldmate so they will pay attention and finally fix it. It's been here since worldmate 2006.

If you live in the west coast of the United States, check your weather after 5:00PM, and see if it states that the last time you updated is tomorrow, not the day you actually checked. You will also notice that it will make claims like, your flight leaves in 2 hours, instead of 9 hours because the GMT is way off for us in the PST area.

If you are in the east coast, then it will be off by 5 to 6 hours.

WorldMate doesn't appear to work off our clocks at all. No matter what time zone you set, it's not going to change the results of the weather or the flight status. It's as if the GMT is hard coded, rather than a variable based on the user's actual time.

Here is my thread, would appreciate a little support on the issue.

Best,

Alex

As i mentioned in my post in this thread, the application is NOT in beta anymore. It is in production and you do not need to have invite for using the free version!!

Please check the website and read for yourself.
