Hello- I have a blackberry curve and am using the blackberry internet service (not blackberry enterprise solutions), and am frustrating by the lack of syncing between the phone and my IMAP email account. When I read or reply to an email on my phone, it does not show up as read or replied on my email account. If I read an email on my email account, it does not show up as read on my phone. Is there anyway to do this? Note that when I reply to a message on my phone it does show up in my sent mail folder on my email account. Thanks.

I think that level of synch is only present with Yahoo Mail and Google Mail.

Everyone else (all other email on BIS - pop or imap) has the same issue as you do.

Email doesn't sync. In some cases you can get it to reconcile, but not sync. Don't know about Gmail and/or Yahoo as I don't use them.

I cant stop my handheld from alerting me when I reply to a message
it alerts me on me on every email and when it reply it alerts me like its a new message! How on earth can i change that?

What do you mean alert? Do you mean you get a copy of the response? If that is it, then log into your BIS account and edit each email account to delete the AUTO BCC:
