Smile Cleaning The Track Ball.....

Please Login to Remove!

What are some safe ways to clean your Track ball and possibly keep it looking new, like when u first opened the box? Besides wearing gloves. I know some people like to get smart and say to wear gloves when using your Curve (or pearl). BTW I am a Curve converter, I had the pearl and spent almost full price for it and extended my contract. To this day I say it is all worth it! WOOHOO!

I just tried it with my pearl and it does look better. Not the way you probably hope but if you are a real fanatic you can purchase a new trackball on ebay but if you are not tech savvy I wouldnt try it. Good luck either way.

Question

I want my trackball looking nice, but, more importantly, I just want it to work. Sometimes it won't roll in certain directions unless it feels like it, I guess?

When your trackball does not work in a certain direction depress the trackball and while holding it down roll it several different directions, do this a few times and it will dislodge the debris causing it to not function.

There is no way (yet discovered) to return the trackball to it's factory white color. You can keep it clean and can make it lighter but it will eventually fade to a brownish hue.

The have trackball replacements for as little as $9.99 . I just ordered three, put a new one in and have two on stand-bye for when it gets discolored and in my opinion embarrassing!

I use pre-moistened lens cloths on the entire phone. They work very well.
