There isn't a way to do this natively, as the BlackBerry doesn't support flash videos. I thought I did remember a thread in here that showed how to do this somehow. Can't remember where it is. I will search for it.

I just got my Verizon Pearl 8130 today. I just went to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. from the Blackberry Browser. It automatically loaded a mobile version of Youtube and I successfully watched a video. I tried searching for a certain video, but it said only a limited number of videos are available on the mobile version.

I just tried that website and I get this error when I try to download a video...
"A communication failure occured with the selected Mobile Data Service. The server may be busy, please try again later. If the problem persists contact your administrator."

Any clues? PS - I am my administrator.

Ok, I tried a different video and I got farther. It processed the video, which is 4 minutes and 40 seconds long. When I try to download the video, I get an error saying “HTTP Error 413: Request Entity Too Large”. The full video, and the separate smaller parts get the same error, but I am able to download the 10 second preview. Is this because I don’t have a microsd card installed? If I get a microsd card, will this work? Thanks.

Also, only the sound played on the preview, no video. Any ideas here? Do the previews only play sound?

maybe the file really is just too big. i doubt a phone will be able to download like a 4 or 5 mb file. but blueapple does break it down to 330kb sections so you can do it that way. it will say 1,2,3,4,5 and so on. and just start from one.

I tried the seperate parts and I still get the "Entity too large" error. I think I need to get a Micro SD Card. I'm still concerned that no video is displaying.

PS - http://m.youtube.com works fine for me, but the selection of videos is limited.
