Hi,

Just a quick question for those of you with BES and Exchange boxes dotted around the globe.

Are you able to use the same bes admin account on all BES's? Currently we have one sat on the UK Exchange box which is also used on the UK & Sydney BES boxes.

Would it be better to create another account on the Sydney Exchange to use on the Sydney BES?

Best practice would recommend you have a BESAdmin account for each location you have Exchange Servers. ... but you can certainly get away with a single account on a single server; it all really comes down to latency.

Personally, I'd recommend having a BESAdmin account for Sydney in addition to the one you have for the UK.

Hdawg, I agree. I have 2 BES servers in 2 different countries. Our remote site has comms issues so I setup a sencond BESadmin account for the remote site, even though they are in our Forest/Domain. If comms go down the BES doesn't...
