Yes, it will fit Seidio ruberized holster for BB8300/8310/8320.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up of a new thread I've started talking about my modified rubberized shell accommodating for this larger battery and cover.

I also talk about fitting the Curve in a holder with the new battery installed...

Actually I have a plastic clip that I purchased from an AT&T store. I actually would like to get a skin for it, but I figure it won't fit well then. I'm in a business environment and the berry is normally well watched over, so I figure I'm safe.

Anyone with the battery, what kinds of times are you seeing with it vs stock 1100mah?

I've been going almost 5 days without a recharge and that's with some fairly heavy media playing on a daily basis through the built-in speaker! Simply awesome!!

So...has anyone tried to fit their Curve into the OEM leather flip-top leather belt-clip case, equipped with the new 2600mAh battery and cover?

I am on the brink of picking this up...but I dearly love my OEM case, and don't want a different one.

Anybody?

I just put my old 8700 extended battery into my 8310 Curve, and while I dont have the official extended battery cover, it fits into my stretchy, OEM leather flip-top leather belt-clip case just fine with room to spare... I dont see an issue with it fitting with the battery cover on as well. It actually fits better than when I have my skin on it.

Default It even fits with my skin on it

I just tried it with the extended battery and my oem silicon skin, and it still fits into the case. I Think I may be getting myself an extended battery

Would Seidio be willing to sell us just the battery door? I bought a extended battery for my 8700 and really don't want to buy another battery for the 8300.

Will there be a slim hybrid hard case available for the extended battery?

If you're talking about "official" reviews, none that I'm aware of. As far as reviews here, there are plenty. Personally, I am in love with this add-on. I charge my phone about once a week now and use it hard!

I believe Seido has said that they're working on one.

I just recieved the 2600mAh extended battery and matching battery door for my new 8310...and it's on the charger now. So far, although I had some trepidation concerning the "humpback" battery door...I like the way it feels in my hand a little better than the stocker.

I will be testing the performance of the 2600mAh battery in the next few days, and will try to post a review soon.

One note: I wish Seidio would produce the battery cover in color-coordinated shades of Red, Silver, Titanium, and Gold to match the various colors of the 83xx Curve. The stock black color of the Seidio battery cover, although very nice...takes away slightly from the phones color. But...that's not a big deal, just a thought.

I don't believe it's the same battery. A lot of people were using the Pearl battery in the Curve a while back and had some issues. Check and see...

Already did. And yes it works. I think the 8700 battery is 2400mah and the 8300 is 2600mah but the 8700s extended battery power the 8300 just fine. I'm pretty sure the standard oem battery is the same for both (cs2) as well.

Will using the extended battery still allow the curve to be charged in the desktop power station charger??

Where did you get it? Because I'd LOVE to get a new battery with a little bit more punch! Mine's fine, I can get through 2 days with normal use, and 1 day with ALL DAY USE internet, chatting, sms's and e-mails, and it takes me down to about 50% and I Hate to go below 50% and leave the house on a new day on 50% or less! Not to mention weekends where I don't even go home ! So ... Where'd you get it ?

WOW is it big or not!

I would rather carry a charger in my pocket.

I guess those who only want to charge once a week . . . .LOL!
