Smile Address book from PC to BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys what's up, I want to be first to say sorry if this may seem like a stupid question, I am brand new to T-Mobile and as well as the BB family, I was with Verizon for 5 yrs now with T-Mobile. My question is this

I can not understand this, this is way more advanced than I originally thought, meaning much more tideous.

I had over 100 contacts in my old Verizon phone, how do I put that into my BBP? Do I REALLY have to do it one by one on the BB itself? I synched it to the computer but I saw no option indicating what to do. Can anyone help? Is there a program where I can just input the address book, and just upload to the BB?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

If your old phone syncs with Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express then you can install the Desktop Manager program that came with the BlackBerry and then sync the contacts from Outlook or Outlook Express to the BlackBerry.

My old phone is the LG-VX 8300, it does not sync to my pc unfortunately, this BB 8130 is the first BB "Smartphone" I have ever bought, and it's going to take sometime to get all the tricks in this phone to work to my likings...

Any other suggestions guys?

I am with Verizon. When I switched from the Envy phone to my first PDA phone (Palm Treo), I had to manually put in all my contacts. I couldn't figure out any other way around it. I know your fustration. It took me a couple hours to do it.
