Default Update invidual apps from newer OS?

Please Login to Remove!

I don't really feel like spending the 40 minutes required to reload an OS on my GF's pearl.

I was wondering if I could unpack the latest OS and grab the 3 .cod files I need (all related to tmobile/myfaves) and toss them in the current OS's java directory on the DM?

Would this work or would it harp about being the wrong version of software for the OS?

I'm trying to fix the myFaves stuck large bubble bug (or whatever you want to call it).

No, that won't work.

Do the full backup and OS load, but you can remove some CODs first from the upgrade if you wish (PTT, etc.,).

Dang that stinks.

I guess I'll grab 107 or 108 and mod the blackberry.alx to remove ptt, add the tmo stuff and blackup/restore the phone.

Will this wipe the address book?

Trolling, nice. Great example of a moderator.

She's important to me, but the myfave bug doesn't bother her.. it bothers me and I don't even USE the phone hence the low priority/desire to update the OS.

Laughed out loud to your reported post and so will the rest of the Mod's.

Good luck with your OS upgrade.
