Please Login to Remove!

Sprint BB 8830
All my software I have installed seems to run with no issuess however.

I do have the program BBSmart

I have been sending email out thru GMAIL using the BB with pasting stuff into the body of the email or using smartsay.

People reply to me and say my email body was emptie, but when I myself go into my gmail account on the computer I can see my email I sent no problem.

Does anyone have a clue? whats happening here.

Perhaps not that many use BBSmart?

Did you try posting in the 3rd party software section?

Hi gary599,

So does this happen when you compose and send an email without using the email templates feature in BBSmart?

Have you tried composing and sending an email to some other email address you own and checking if the body is empty?

Have you tried composing and sending using an email account other than gmail and checking if the body is empty?

Maybe it will work on Empower.

Well actually, since BBSmart doesn't modify outgoing email I'd say something else is going on here.

Hey Gary599,

Just a thought. Is it possible that they are receiving your "pasted" info, but just not in the body of the message? Do they have any attachments along with your message?

Some providers will truncate the messages by taking HTML and Images and sending them through as attachments.

I sent email to all my blackberry email accounts, and then using the BB to respond with the smart say templete. Using the different email accounts.

All emails showed no issues.

I composed emails using the templete from each BB account sending email to my gmail account no issues.

My problem may be craigslist. I have been responding to ads with a templete, and when the people respond back to me, they usually write something like, I did not see your email, and below is what I see. Below is what I received in my gmail account from someone who respond back.

Yes, I tend to agree in that it sounds like something to do with CL. I do know that Craiglist posting are very particular about their formating when it comes to coping and pasting. It is basically a plain text list, however, with the proper formating you can place html in your postings.

I am not a big CL user, so if you haven't already you may want to look in to the formating for pasted information, for that matter even the formating of how your software copies this information. But since you are a CL user you probably know the in and outs on CL.

Just thinking out loud. Hope you find the problem.

It's a web-based email. No telling what system they're using for the email responses. They may remove pictures/graphics at the server level.

there is no graphics, just visit a website, find a email address, click it and compose a email from your blackberry thats what I'm doing its so simple I cant see why there is an issue to begin with.
