Hay everyone !!! I just signed up at this forum after some time here as a guest. I was wondering if any one here has used there 7100 to load new "maps" to a PowerCommander for a motorcycle ???

That would be very cool. Even though the PC comes in USB, I doubt there would be a program for it.

They do a a little power module that runs off a 9V (I think) so you can load a map from a desktop and then install on the bike. Otherwise, either the bike comes to the computer or vice versa.

Let me know if you find a BB solution.

Well on my bike " 04 Aprilia Factory R " it does not need the 9volt hook up. The do make a ver of there software that works on a palm but I think I will load it and try it on Sunday but I don't know what to do as far as loading it on the desktop.

I don't think you will find any handheld software to do this, when we are at the track we just plug the laptop in...

I haven't tried that route; but I do store a Garmin Emap in the glovebox on my '79 Vespa.
