Default 8320 ROGERS 15$ email plan

Please Login to Remove!

does wifi work with this plan for web browsing?

it did before and i couldnt load pages so i added the $25 dollar plan but realized the problem was with java and not the net so then i had it converted back down to the 15 dollar plan but they put some sort of restriction on it again...

now it says cant open web browser!!

is there any way around that or do i have to call back and upgrade the plan again.?

It does not work on Rogers devices, Rogers only supports the text message based MSN.

You cant do anything. I have an 8320. Was on the $60 plan that enables TCP, I could turn EDGE off, use wifi only, and surf the web. Changed to their $15 BIS only plan which does not enable TCP, I turned EDGE off, tried using wifi only, and cant do anything AT ALL. No 3rd party apps, no Wifi browser, NOTHING.

Apparently the networking stack checks with the Roger's APN servers regardless of where the connection is coming from, and denies access prior to data / request reaching its final destination.

If someone can prove me wrong, please do. I wanna keep this thing, but Rogers is just pissing me off with their BS data plans.
