Default I really need your help guys! :(

Please Login to Remove!

I just got BlackBerry 8700g. It's from Italy and I use it in Serbia. It's unlocked, so it works with our network.
The OS is v4.1.0.377 (Platform 2.0.0.152)
I downloaded Desktop Manager, but it works only with backup and restore. When I try Roxio manager to transfer photos or sound, it says that device is not connected?! :(
I really don't know anything about BlackBerries, I'm using it for a first time, so I really need help... a lot of help...
Also, I saw you're talking about new OS, how to instal it?

Your 8700 has NO Media Card, so the Roxio Media Manager has NO reason to work. Roxio really is intended for the newer model BlackBerrys which have a removable Media Card.

good luck, welcome to the Forums.

1. Attach them to an email to yourself, and download the attachment.

2. Post them at a free website, and download from your browser.

That's the problem. I told you my BB is from Italy and my network doesn't supporty BB! :(
When I click on (for example) Download Themes, it says "Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries. Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device."
So, is it possible to do something over the USB cable?

I must have mis-read your first post. I thought it was working on your network.

If you upgrade your BB to the 4.2 OS, yes.

Warning, many users say 4.2 on the 8700 is buggy and slow. You need to read the pertinent threads and decide for yourself if you want 4.2. You can always downgrade to 4.1 if you like.
