I recently bought a blackberry pearl, it works great, and i love it. The only thing that is really pissing me off about it, is the volume on it. I can't hear my speakerphone very well, and my volume on my music is pretty damn low at maximum volume........is there a way to increase the maximum volume on it?
While your language isn't considered "vulgar" it is a little abrasive and inappropriate, especially for a first post.
There's not much can be done about the volume except to turn it up to it's maximum. You can use louder ringtones and make sure your ringtones are set to the highest level. As far as music volume, the BB is made to use headphones. There is also a setting in the options for the media player that will increase the volume. Look in Media >Music >Options....
I couldn't find that option......all i could find is:
Sort By
Sort Direction
Thumbnails per row
Slide show interval
device memory limit
reserved pictures memory
Actually, what worked for me with the Pearl was to buy a new battery cover--the one that comes with it seems to cover the speaker--one of the first things I did was to buy that(it costs about 14.00 if I recall)....the best thing I did for my Pearl. I still couldn't listen to it sans headphone, but as someone said, it's not designed to be listened to without it. That said, I can hear it better with the new battery cover than w/o it.
When i go to the media player menu (the place that shows music, video, ringtones, pictures) and try to go to options.....all i see is:
