I used to have a 7290 but now I got the 7100G. Is there an OTA for this Messenger program? I used to have it on my 7290 and loved it.

the 7100 series phones can download it OTA from www.blackberry.com/messenger

I have some users that are telling me that they are getting a notification on their home screen of an incoming IM message....Mine isnt doing this....any ideas?

So it worked on my tmo 7290 and 7100, but I put it on my nextel 7510, I receive the message but when I try to reply the phone turns off. It never did this before today. I used the javaloader

From the blackberry site, do you mean the over the air one? Cuz I did uninstall and reinstalled from the java loader, and than I tried the .alx file, and still the same.

why cant ppl read. RIM IS OFFERING THE FULL VERSION ON THEIR SITE. www.blackberry.com/messenger attach your phone via usb and you can install the latest version there. no need for OTA or zip files or javaloaders.

no from the blackberry site there is no ota version this is straight from RIM the makers of the blackberry so no need to use javaloader

Can anyone confirm it's ver 1.0? Or are they just offering their ver 0.1 via the ActiveX download/installer? I just did it without uninstalling 0.1 and nothing changed or "updated". It did say it was successfully installed.

Their web installer is fast and too easy to use!

I think they just removed it from beta didnt really change anything
