Default .jad files

Please Login to Remove!

how to you get them on your bb i d/l a couple form a link in a different thread but dm wont see them so how do i get these files loaded on the phone

First know the root folder you saved the .jad file on your BB. Then scroll to the media icon select it, and make sure your on the main screen for Media(displaying the four icons music/video/ringtones/pictures).

Hit the "App" key (to the left of the trackball), then choose "Explore".

Now you see the folder in your BB memory and your Media Card (if available). So now just go to the directory where the .jad file is and run, it will prompt you to 'download' after selecting it, the program should now install onto your BB.

well that didnt work says download failed i got the files from a link in the weather icon thread and downloaded them from the soursceforge site so thanks for the help

To install java apps you need to download both the .jad & .jar files for the applications. Place them both on your media card in the same folder.
Use the procedure above for accessing those files, then open the .jad file to install the program. It will not work unless you have both files in the same folder.

Default downloading .jad files

where can i actually download .jad themes from?
i cant seem to get any. iv got the software just need the themes
or do you have to change the format of the theme when you save it?
