Default Photo weirdness

Please Login to Remove!

Last night it was snowing, so I took a quick photo of the snow coming down, then emailed it to Twango (using the email button right there in the camera app) to archive it, then deleted it. This morning, I went to take another photo, started the camera with the right convenience key, and the photo I took last night was there in the camera screen, as if I'd just taken it. I thought, that's odd, I'm sure I deleted that after sending it to Twango. So I tried to delete it again, from that screen, clicking on the trash can icon. I got a message in red letters, "Cannot delete". Weird. I pressed the escape key and the camera started up as usual, I took a picture. I escaped out of the camera app, looked around in the Media files, but that other picture wasn't there. The new one that I'd just taken was there, of course. I started the camera again, and all was normal. Whatever the problem was, I can't reproduce it. I thought, maybe this is a sign the Curve needs to be rebooted, so I did a battery pull. Still, it was odd. Any idea what would cause this behavior?

Probably just needed a hard reset, which usually resolves strange camera behavior.

Mine's done it before. Seems to me if you don't back out after taking the picture, even if you close the camera application, the last picture taken stays static until you hit the camera button or back button again.

Nothing to worry abut. Mine's done it, yes even with pictures I have deleted. I didn't reset it afterwards either, it still worked fine after I hit the back button like I usually do after taking a pic.

Thanks for the info, I was wondering if it was a malfunction of some sort. I'm still learning the quirks of this thing.

I have had this happen to me as well. I noticed that after taking the picture, if you open the menu using the menu key and close the phone application from there, then the picture you just snapped will not be there. Hitting the end call or escape button closes the application but doesn't quite shut it all the way down.

If you hit alt + back key it will show you all apps that are running on your phone, a little like a task manager for windows...

This doesn't work for me...probably needs a separate thread though.

edit: I take it back. It cycles through them, right? I was expecting it to bring up the Switcher.
